Neveen Galal - Principal Solicitor


Prior to founding Amnesty Solicitors Neveen was Director and Head Immigration department at one of the UK's largest and respected immigration law firm. Having established a highly successful immigration department in 2007 which saw the firm expand to a workforce of over 400 and ranked in the Legal 500.

Neveen was admitted as a solicitor in July 2005 and is accredited under the Law Society's Immigration Accreditation at senior advisor in Immigration Law. Neveen has strong expertise in advising clients on Immigration and Public Law, Practice and Policy as well as co-ordinating and managing delivery of services to clients across multiple jurisdictions under the PBS.

Neveen previously held the position as an executive committee member of the SPG and as well as treasurer of the Sole Practitioners Group London.

In 2017 Neveen co-founded Hexagon Legal Network in London, as well as a Director she hold the position of treasurer.

Neveen's experience covers all aspects of Immigration, Administrative and Human Rights law with extensive experience of complex immigration and detention cases. Neveen has an impressive success rate of winning appeals with particular strength in challenging the lawfulness of detention. Neveen is an appeal court advocate having considerable experience of conducting advocacy before the Courts and Tribunals.

Farida Dar - Consultant Solicitor

Farida qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and has over 17 years experience in immigration matters, focusing in particular on UK corporate immigration and individuals wishing to invest and/or start-up businesses in the UK.

Her experience includes advising large multinational companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on matters relating to immigration strategy, compliance, preparing businesses for Brexit and the relocation of staff into the UK and Ireland.

She also assists high-net-worth individuals with business visa applications to multiple jurisdictions across the world providing hands on assistance every step of the way.

Farida previously worked closely with the Home Office contributing to the UK’s new Business Visitor rules introduced in 2016. In 2018 she negotiated changes to the immigration policies with The Bahamian Consulate which resulted in a visa waiver for eligible Indian nationals entering The Bahamas.

Her clients have represented a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, media, gaming, information technology and engineering.

Before joining Amnesty Solicitors as a freelance Consultant Solicitor, Farida worked for the largest global corporate Immigration law firm handling UK and Irish corporate immigration matters on an extensive scale and helped to set up their new offices in Dublin.
